A 20-year-old Japanese pop star found herself in hot water after a seemingly innocent social media post. Momoke Todze, a member of the group Katacoto Bank, faced severe backlash from fans and her management after sharing birthday photos with her boyfriend.

Her agency's response was extreme: a year-long sentence of nightly solo selfies with the caption "good night." The intention was clear: to distance the idol from any romantic associations and protect the carefully cultivated image of purity.
