Japan’s Boob Temple

Jison-In Temple situated at the base of Mount Koya, in the small town of Kudoyama, in Wakayama prefecture, Japan, this temple looks looks no different than any number of Japanese Buddhist temples. When inside, you will find thousands of wood plaques featuring breasts made of foam and fabric, plastic, or paint. Some of the visitors are praying for healthy pregnancies, steady breast milk supply or for breast cancer eradication.
